Caring for a Print So It Outlasts the Pet
Light, humidity, and cleaning products are what damage prints. All three are avoidable.

A giclée print on cotton rag will last decades if you keep it away from three things.
Direct sunlight
Even archival inks fade under UV. Any wall that gets direct sun for part of the day will show it within a few years.
Bathrooms and kitchens
Humidity swells the paper and can lift it from the mount. Steam and cooking grease do the rest.
Glass cleaner
Spray on the cloth, never on the glass. Liquid that runs down behind the frame will wick into the paper edge and stain it.
